My printer broke, and I needed a new printer to make Christmas cards.  So many out there, but I ended up getting an Epson Artisan 810....this printer is great!

Family x Friends x Turkey

Last week Thanksgiving dinner was held at my house.  Pops and I cooked the turkey, well actually I did more of the cooking, and pops did the supervising.  From the reaction of everyone the turkey came out pretty good....Moms, wifey, and Cindy made all the side dishes ~ありがとう！

It turned out to be a nice Thanksgiving, because Pops and Moms flew in, and close friends came through....but I wish my little sis could have been here, and Jahsh too....maybe some other year

Grapes...Grapes...Grapes...

Took my parents to the Torri Mor Vinegard for a little wine tasting last week.  I don't really care too much for wine, but the desert wine was really good, and so I had to buy a bottle.  One of the nice things about this Vineyard is they have a little Japanese garden.

                                                  

Surprise~~!

My wife surprised me tonight when I got home from work.  She made a Birthday cake from scratch, my favorite......Japanese style Strawberry Short Cake~!  Actually, my birthday isn't for a few more days, but this is the last chance we can be alone to celebrate together because my parents will be here from Monday for Thanksgiving.

This cake was so delicious, and it reminded me of when we were dating.  Whenever I would go to Japan, I would almost always eat a slice of Strawberry short cake.  I actually never eat this stuff in the US because it is overly sweet with loads of sugar.  In Japan, their cake is light, fluffy, and majority of the sweetness is from the taste of the strawberries.

As for my other gifts......PERFECT~!  I got a drawing from my wife, and a new Mac keyboard.  I have been thinking about getting this keyboard for months now, but been too busy to buy it.  She knew exactly what I wanted "no 10 key"......

Bored at Work...

Today started off to be really busy at work, and I am so glad that I had my drink of choice...

"ROCKSTARtmyday"....

Then work got a little slow towards the afternoon, and so I decided to take a picture of my cube, and outside.  Thought that I'd try snapping some B&W today.

Then it got busy again toward the end of my 12 hour shift, but I ended up getting a lot of work done today.  I guess you could say that I had a little motivation.....My motivation was knowing that I would be off for the next 6 days.

Lately, it has been raining quite a bit, and I have been working a lot of long days and nights. I finally have a day off, and this morning I caught the sunrise. It seems like it is going to be a really nice day for a change. My wife and I are going to enjoy today as much as possible because it will probably rain tomorrow.........

Happy Mail...

I received a package in the mail from my in-laws the other day. It was a early birthday gift, I was so surprised and happy. I got a few really dope UniQlo flannel shirts from Japan.
